When the heck was UnleashVideo.com conceived?

Like you, we were conceived on love, and 9 months later born for the world to enjoy. Ideas for the site were thrown around in June 2007, with the official public beta release in February 2008, which coincidentally really is 9 months later.

Who the heck are the people behind UnleashVideo.com?

The UV team is comprised of people from all over the world making UnleashVideo.com a truly collaborative platform. This is yet another reason why collaboration is so important to us, it's what we've been founded on.

I want to stay in the loop for this site. How do I sign up for your cool newsletter?

Signing up for our newsletter is easy and FREE, and allows you to become an extra special member on our site. You will get exciting "insider information" emails on what is happening behind the scenes @ UnleashVideo, new site features that are coming soon, contests and prizes to be won, fun links to visit, blog posts, and much more :)

There are currently 2 easy ways that you can Sign Up for our newsletter:

1. When you first sign up for an account, check the box that says "I want to signup for the UV Newsletter."

2. In your account, under your main section, scroll down to the bottom where it says Newsletter. Here you can simply subscribe or unsubscribe any time you wish by choosing either option. Click the "Save Settings" button when you are done.

Go to the bottom of the site and click on "Video RSS". You can subscribe this way, or through any of the blog readers you may use.

When can I advertise?

Advertising can be done for releasing a new product, adopting a new ad strategy for an existing product, communicating special deals, or any other campaign goals you may have.

Is it easy to advertise?

Advertising can be setup easily and quickly after reviewing your ad campaign specifications. You will be notified if your campaign is accepted or rejected within 5 business days from submission. If accepted, it should be up and running within minutes thereafter. If rejected, there will be outlining reasons why it was rejected. If certain changes are needed and resolved, the campaign may once again be resubmitted for approval status.

What are the costs involved?

You can be up and running with only $100 so we cater to both small and large ad accounts.

Our company was built on cleaning up the internet and reducing piracy, so we work hard to prevent all content without the proper copyrights in place from the site.

Who has content ownership on UnleashVideo?

All intellectual ownership properties are yours, you may remove a video at any point you wish. While it remains on the site we will help to market and maximize your video�s success potential.

Will my videos be altered in any way?

We may recommend changing certain information on the video such as title, description, and tags, but only to help your odds at generating more views and cash. We will never alter this information and unleash your video without a genuine consent of approval.

I see a video that�s mine but I personally didn't upload it?

In this case you may be a victim of piracy, please contact us and we will internally look into the case. Provide us with your name and the URL of the video. Or use our report link on the video.
